Instant Education is pleased to support the many ākonga in Aotearoa with Dyslexia by producing resources in a Dyslexia Friendly (DF) font, OpenDyslexic.  OpenDyslexic is designed to mitigate some of the common reading challenges faced by individuals with dyslexia. It's characterised by features like heavier bottoms on letters to reduce letter confusion, and improved letter spacing to enhance readability.

Instant Education is publishing DF versions of Resources for the new Foundation Skills Te Ara Tupu Level 1 and Level 2 initially.

The DF version of the resource includes the full delivery pack in Open Sans font plus the Learner Guide and Assessment in the Open Dyslexic font.
